At the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District,
the Analytical Services Department analyzes water samples from several
points along Lake Erie, namely Edgewater Park and Villa Angela. These
samples are analyzed to determine levels of E. coli bacteria, and the
results are then forwarded to the Ohio Department of Health.
Monitoring results for all sampling points along Ohio's Lake
Erie shore are available through the Ohio Department of Health web site
