In general, the work consists of furnishing labor, materials, equipment and incidentals for sewer and manhole cleaning and post-cleaning inspection of the Easterly Interceptor from East 61st Street to just east of Martin Luther King Boulevard, totaling approximately 9,700 feet in length, and ranging in size from 144 to 175 inches in diameter. The existing sewer shape is circular and the materials may be brick, concrete, or reinforced concrete. These sewers convey both sanitary and storm flows. This contract also includes enlarging the chimneys of four (4) existing manholes to improve the access to the interceptor.
