ENVIRONMENTAL
Monitoring water quality is a major and ongoing responsibility. The Water Quality &
Industrial Surveillance (WQIS) department samples the waters of
Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie to ensure that pollutants and bacteria are
below specified threshold limits for the safety and health of our residents and visitors.
