Contract LARS will be constructed within the City of Cleveland. The Lake Avenue Relief Sewers will provide relief to the Lake Avenue Branch of the District's Westerly Interceptor. The relief sewers will convey flows from the Westerly Interceptor to the District's Northwest Interceptor (NWI). A parallel relief sewer will be constructed along Lake Avenue from W. 104th to West Boulevard and then north along West Boulevard to Edgewater Drive. This relief sewer will convey flows from NWI via a new drop shaft located at the intersection of West Boulevard and Edgewater Drive. The estimated total length is 2,400 linear feet. Also, a short stretch of relief sewer will be constructed at the intersection of W. 117th Street and Lake Avenue. This relief sewer will convey flows to the NWI upstream of Edgewater Drive. The estimated total length is 50 linear feet.
