The work associated with the Rehabilitation of Automated Regulators (RAR-4) project includes 17 Automated Regulator sites, 6 Diversion Chambers and 25 rain gages sites. At one Automated Regulator site, an existing inflatable dam will be replaced. New concrete, polyethylene piping, a blower and a manhole will be required to accommodate the new inflatable dam. Although not all encompassing, work at the other Automated Regulator sites will include providing a new hydraulic cylinder and knife gate, installing new wiring, conduits and hydraulic tubing. Painting and crack repair will also be required.
12 sluice gates will be replaced with stop logs at 6 Diversion Chambers. Rain gages will be replaced at 25 rain gage sites.
