In general, the work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals for a new Shaw Brook structure that will consist of replacing the top half of 30 linear feet of the 13.5-foot diameter sewer. The Shaw Brook regulator is located in Cuyahoga County at the border of the City of Cleveland and the Village of Bratenahl, Ohio. It will also include construction of a new overflow structure over the interceptor and a flow channel/spillway that will direct overflow during heavy rains. The existing ground elevation will be raised to allow a concrete platform to be constructed. The platform will allow the District to access the site via truck while also serving as an emergency spillway should Shaw Brook need to overflow the new channel.
