Southerly 4500 Report - September 2004
Southerly Design Data

 Southerly Operating Data
Southerly operates using a primary and secondary treatment (two-stage biological process) with effluent filtration, disinfection, and solids handling. The first stage of the secondary treatment is the removal of Carbonaceous Biochemical Oxygen Demand (CBOD) and the secondary stage is ammonia reduction.

Southerly receives biosolids generated by the District's Easterly plant as well as its own. Fully processed biosolids are incinerated at Southerly or hauled to an approved landfill.

The Southerly Design Data link above provides further details of the components utilized at the various stages of treatment and the design specifications for the plant.

Operating Data

In compliance with the District's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit and Ohio EPA regulations, daily operating data is summarized for each of the plants in the NPDES Self-Compliance Monitoring and Permit Status Report, also referred to as the 4500 Report. A link to the latest 4500 report for the Southerly wastewater treatment plant is provided on top of this page. This link is updated monthly after the final report is submitted to the Ohio EPA.

For questions regarding operational data, please contact the District's Southerly wastewater treatment plant at 216-641-3200.
