Southerly WWTP discharge limit parameters are set according to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System. This permit is issued to a wastewater treatment plant by the Ohio Environmental Protection agency, which establishes limits and conditions on how a wastewater plant has to perform in order to protect the environment. The effluent discharge point for Southerly WWTP is the Cuyahoga River.
