There are approximately 350 light poles providing general outside lighting at the Southerly Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). These light poles are located along roadways or located at the open, outdoor settling and aeration tank areas. The light poles are 20 to 30 years old and difficult to maintain. The lighting fixtures on the light poles are inefficient mercury vapor type and will be replaced with metal halide lighting fixtures. The existing outside lighting system will be removed and replaced with a high mast lighting system.
