Cleveland | April 7, 2010 - As directed by Title V (Stormwater Management Code), the Sewer District has developed a draft Stormwater Fee Credit Policy Manual. This Manual details the types of stormwater fee credits that will be available to account holders under the Regional Stormwater Management Program, as well as procedures for credit applications.
On April 6, the draft Policy Manual was mailed to Sewer District member-community mayors and managers, township trustees, engineers, and service and law directors for comment. The draft Policy Manual outlines the criteria and steps required to
receive a stormwater fee credit in four categories: Individual
Residential, Stormwater Quality, Stormwater Quantity, and Education.
If you
are interested in reviewing the draft Policy Manual, you can download a PDF. We
will accept written comments until May 10, 2010. Please address your written comments to Betsy Yingling, Manager of Watershed Technical Support, NEORSD, 3900 Euclid Avenue,
Cleveland, Ohio 44115. We will review all written comments received and make necessary adjustments to the draft Policy Manual for the Board of
Trustees' consideration in June.
