 Thermometer Exchange Program
The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District maintains an ongoing thermometer exchange program. District customers are eligible for this program when they bring in a mercury fever thermometer. Customers receive a free digital thermometer in exchange for a mercury fever thermometer.

The District's thermometer exchange program is held Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Environmental Maintenance and Services Center (EMSC) located at:

4747 East 49th Street, Cuyahoga Heights

Simply package your old mercury fever thermometer in its holding case, then place the thermometer in a ziplock bag. Bring the thermometer to the District's EMSC facility and you will receive a new digital thermometer. For questions or additional information about this program, please contact the District's Water Quality & Industrial Surveillance Department at (216) 641-6000 or email us at mercuryprogram@neorsd.org
