Cleveland | November 10, 2009 - The Sewer District has developed a cost-effective program to address our region's
pressing stormwater management needs. An important step toward
implementation of this regional program is the approval by our Board of
Trustees of the proposed Stormwater Management Code. | Join us at one of our public meetings for details
This Code, known as Title V, forms
the foundation of the program. It details the District's authority,
provides cohesive guidance for sustainable management of stormwater
through a watershed-based approach, defines areas of District
responsibility, establishes proposed stormwater fees and credits, and
provides a community cost-share program for local initiatives.
If you
are interested in reviewing the proposed Code, you can download a PDF. We
will accept written comments on specific text in the Code until Monday,
December 7, 2009. Please address your written comments to Frank
Greenland, Director of Watershed Programs, NEORSD, 3900 Euclid Avenue,
Cleveland, Ohio 44115. Comments will not be accepted by e-mail or
phone. We will review all written comments received. Thank you.
