Westerly has been converted from its original physical/chemical process design to a trickling filter/solids contacts biological process.
The Westerly Design Data link above provides further details of the components utilized at the various stages of treatment and the design specifications for the plant.
Operating Data
In compliance with the District's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit and Ohio EPA regulations, daily operating data is summarized for each of the plants in the NPDES Self-Compliance Monitoring and Permit Status Report, also referred to as the 4500 Report. A link to the latest 4500 report for the Westerly wastewater treatment plant is provided on top of this page. This link is updated monthly after the final report is submitted to the Ohio EPA.
