DIRECT OR ONLINE PAYMENT

CLEVELAND WATER CUSTOMERS

To enroll in eBilling or to activate your NEORSD AutoPay/EZ Pay account, you will need your new NEORSD account number and will not be able to enroll until you have received your first NEORSD-only bill.

As of November 11, 2013, your Cleveland Water bill and your NEORSD bill are now separate bills and separate account numbers. Even if you already have a Cleveland Water eBilling account, you will need to set up a separate NEORSD eBilling account to process online payments with your Sewer District. If you have questions regarding eBilling, contact our billing agent Cleveland Water at (216) 664-3130.

BEREA & NORTH ROYALTON CUSTOMERS

Berea and North Royalton do not offer an online payment option for your NEORSD bill at this time. Check with your bank to find out how you can start online utility payments from your checking or savings account.

All Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District customers may continue to pay their bills by enclosing and sending their personal check payment in the bill envelopes.

Visitors may park in our building lot. Our main gate is on E. 40th Street.

Customers can pay their water and sewer bills at this time, but no cash or credit cards will be accepted: money orders, cashiers checks, or personal checks are acceptable forms of payment.

How we bill our customers
CUSTOMERS ARE BILLED QUARTERLY BASED ON WATER CONSUMPTION
WASTEWATER SERVICES: On behalf of the District, the Cities of Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, Berea, and North Royalton bill customers for sewage charges on a quarterly basis. Our customers are billed based on metered water consumption. Customers who receive water service from Rural Lorain County Water Authority are billed on a bi-monthly basis.

Understanding water usage and your sewer bill
HOW YOUR BILL IS CALCULATED
The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District calculates your quarterly sewer charges by multiplying your actual water consumption (measured in MCF, or 7,480 gallons) by the appropriate sewer rate. A base charge (perhaps denoted on your bill as a Cost-Recovery Charge) is then added to that total.
