Road closures on Pearl through the end of 2023 as project continues

The current phase the Pearl and Jennings Road Storage Tanks and Pump Station Upgrades (PJPS) project has lanes closed on Pearl Road under the I-71 overpass through the end of the year.

Pearl northbound has one lane open under I-71.

Pearl southbound is closed between the I-71 west on-ramp and Riverside Avenue.

To ensure the safety of all motorists and construction workers, please use extreme caution when travelling through this area and follow the proper detour signs.

Upon completion in 2024, PJPS will reduce the amount of pollution discharging into Big Creek and the Cuyahoga River during heavy rain events.
