Utility Assistance Resource Fairs
Our 2026 event dates are February 7, March 7, August 8, and November 14.
We are helping eligible customers find financial assistance on water, sewers, stormwater, gas and electric bills
We are teaming up with other Northeast Ohio utilities to visit communities across Cleveland for your chance to meet and discuss your utility bills, discount programs, and cost-saving opportunities.

Our 2026 Utility Assistance Resource Fair dates are confirmed.
Our remaining 2026 Saturday fair dates and locations (subject to change) include March 7 at the Arnold Pinkney East Professional Center, August 8 at Tri-C West, and November 14 at Tri-C East. We will share details for the February fair and registration information in January.

The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, City of Cleveland Division of Water, Cleveland Public Power, Cleveland Water Pollution Control, First Energy and CHN Housing Partners and more will be on-site, subject to change.
Eligible customers will be able to sign up for a variety of assistance programs at the fair, including the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District’s Affordability Program, which provides a 40% reduction on sewer bills, and Crisis Assistance Program, which provides up to a $300 credit on sewer bills.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
Attendees MUST bring copies of their utility bills (electric, gas, sewer and/or water) and proof of household income (e.g., paystub, social security statement, most recently filed IRS 1040 or other documentation) to the Resource Fair. To maximize participation in as many programs as possible, attendees should also bring copies of the following, if available:
- Proof of household’s total gross income
(paystub, social security, disability, pension letter, or most recently filed IRS 1040) - COPY of your birth certificate(s)
- COPY of your ID (driver’s license or state ID)
- COPY of Supplemental Medical Insurance
- COPY of Social Security Card
- COPY of Electric Bill
- COPY of Gas Bill
- COPY of Water and Sewer Bills (if applicable)
- COPY of Lease Agreement (if a renter)
- Bring COPIES of the above documentation for ALL members of your household
