Stream study results will help determine river's ability to meet future EPA criteria

Crews studied sites around the Southerly treatment plant for chlorophyll a concentrations (an indicator of algal production) to identify factors affecting the growth of algae. The 2008 Cuyahoga River study shows improvements in fish health and pollution-reduction efforts, while the West Creek study was designed to set a baseline to determine the success of future restoration projects. ...
