Charity Choice Spring Plant Sale | March 20-April 19, 2024
Charity Choice gives employees a chance to support various charities through District-sponsored activities. This year’s plant sale directly benefits the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. The Greater Cleveland Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief organization in Northeast Ohio having served more than 400,000 people in Cuyahoga, Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, Ashland, and Richland counties last year.
Native plants
This year we are continuing our partnership with Avonlea, a local greenhouse, to provide a source of plantings native to our region. Native plants are an excellent addition to your garden and landscape for a multitude of reasons. These species require less maintenance, are better suited to capture runoff, and benefit pollinators and other wildlife. All orders will be shipped to EMSC and the GJM Building May 7. Questions?

Veggies, annuals, hanging baskets
We are continuing our partnership with Dean’s Greenhouse to bring you a locally grown assortment of vegetables, herbs, annuals, hanging baskets, and more. Employees will be able to pickup their plants from EMSC or the GJM Building May 7. Questions?
