Local execs to auction time for worthy cause
Sewer District to host nonprofit's Executive Auction Kickoff June 3

As a supporting sponsor of the Consortium of African American Organizations (CAAO), the Sewer District will host CAAO's 2005 Executive Auction Kickoff on June 3rd. Sixty of Northeast Ohio's top community leaders and executives will auction their time to benefit CAAO's work.

CAAO is a nonprofit consulting organization which provides benefits and services to black professional organizations of greater Cleveland, as described on the group's website www.caao.net.

Bidding will open June 1 and continue through June 10, 2005. The kickoff ceremony will be held at the Sewer District's McMonagle Building on Euclid Avenue that evening.

Erwin J. Odeal, Executive Director of the Regional Sewer District, was among the more than 100 participants in last year's auction event, and CAAO reports to have generated an economic impact of more than $500,000.
