Darnell Brown, Chief Operating Officer of the City of Cleveland and six-year Sewer District Board member, was elected Board President July 12.

Cuyahoga Heights Mayor Thomas J. Longo and Parma Mayor Dean E. DePiero were also elected Vice President and Secretary, respectively.

Brown replaces former President Ronald Sulik, who was appointed to a third term as Board member in February 2007. He will remain a Board member.

Brown is an Ohio State University graduate and member of numerous professional agencies. Mayor Longo has been a Board member since 1988 and is a former President of the Cuyahoga County Mayors and Managers Association. Mayor DePiero is the District's newest Board member, apointed by the County Commissioners in March 2007.
