Cuyahoga County Solar Cooperative: join Stephanie Choi from the Cuyahoga County Office of Sustainability and Luke Sulfridge from Solar United Neighbors (SUN) to learn about a program for residents and businesses to cooperatively purchase solar panels. Co-ops take advantage of the group’s bulk-purchasing power to get discounted pricing and a quality installation.

SUN has worked with nearly a dozen solar co-ops to help Ohio residents organize group solar installations. In 2017, 194 Cuyahoga County residents signed up for the co-op, and 32 homes had solar installed. Joining the co-op does not obligate you to purchase or install solar panels.
