Water flows downhill, but sometimes gravity needs a little help.
When a City of Cleveland pump station at Mary Avenue and W. 3 St. went down earlier this month, wastewater flow could not be properly routed to the Sewer District’s interceptor sewer responsible for carrying the flow to the treatment plant. Our Sewer System Maintenance & Operations staff set up this temporary pump bypass while repairs are made this month.
